The Audition -back and stronger than ever!I remember being a teenager and having my sister pester me about some You Tube video she had been sent. I thought, ‘oh great it’s going to be some dog on a skateboard’ or something equivalent. Luckily for me it wasn’t. This time it was a video of The Audition - You’ve Made Us Concious, a song that was catchy as hell, I was hooked -this was better than any dog on a skateboard.Though unfortunately my love affair with this band was only to go as far as my iPod at the time. Hailing from Chicago, Illinois it was pretty far from London, though in 2007 the had been on the Victory Records touring bill I could not attend, bummer.
Nevertheless I welcomed each track and the two albums, it wasn’t till  March 2008 when I eventually got to see them live. Their show at Islington Academy -which was supported by that little band you may of heard of…something to do with you and six?- left me not that surprised ..as this little band I had only heard through earphones were just as -if not better- live. Since then I’ve seen them pretty much every chance I had gotten, and now they return to our shores once again to promote their latest release Chapter II.
So bloggers and music fans alike, I present to you one of the most underrated band from the US of A The Audition. Let’s start your beautiful love affair with them shall we?
